StarCraft Costa Rica is a fan community site run by Pura Vida Tech S.A. in Costa Rica. This page explains what we store.
Browsing the site
The ranking, Build Lab, tournaments, Intel and My hub pages don’t need an account. What you save in the Build Lab, the bracket and My hub stays in your own browser (localStorage); we never receive it. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
The forum
To post in the forum you sign in with Discord, Google or Facebook. We receive and store only the account’s identifier and its display name. We don’t receive or store your password or email. You can also add a race, province and BattleTag to your profile. Your messages, display name and profile are public on the forum.
We use one cookie to keep you signed in for 30 days, and a short cookie during sign-in to protect against forged requests.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell or share your data, and we don’t use it for advertising. The server keeps standard access logs for security.
Deleting your data
To delete your forum account and messages, or for any privacy question, message the StarCraft Costa Rica Facebook page and tell us your forum name. We’ll delete them within 30 days.
